i tend to use only the ancient version so there's no ammo. 100% hit, just need clear line of sight.Į. send them infront of you, enemy will try and kill them, but they are hard to hit. meaning will keep on panicing for a long time, givong u enough time to kill it or run.Ĭ. if u get enough viral damage on something, it will go into panic cascade. really handy vs beasts like chirons and schylas. get up close with a heavy, one shot with a machine gun to lower armor. ambushes are rare, and troops with no equipment are cheap.Ī. use a special aircraft with one unarmed soldier to trade and help exploring. stay off the forsaken and the pure mission at the start.Ĥ. start doing them when your assaults get the perk to play with the inventory for free. Special good for scavanging missions, as they have alot of room for creates. Second turn and on, drive up to the enemy. Both on the geoscape and on the battlefield, btw.ġ.the game is built around the economy side.įunds for aircrafts. You get tech to dispel it in the later game. Try to be friendly with all in a later run. That saves you a lot of stress and resources. Also, while not trying to be friends with one faction (NJ in my case), you have a valid target for raids and havens you can safely ignore while they're getting pummeled by Pandorans. Of course that is not the only way to go forward but it served me very well. Mind Control, Panic and armor shredding attacks are also incredibly helpful, so that's why you need Anu second. Synedrion give you Helios aircraft, Spider Drones, long-range effective laser weapons, paralyzing weapons and Aspidas and you want all these things asap. Both things can either be acquired by raid or via the Kaos market. All New Jericho offers is the Technician class (which you may want) and later on piercing weapons. Try to get allied with Synedrion first, Anu second. Go up a step in research and equipment if you feel like you can afford it (meaning an upgrade will not prevent you from re-equipping your troops or building an emergency item). Even if you don't plan to use it, you can still scrap it for materials and tech. Steal everything that is not bolted-on from the battlefield. Costs explode faster than you can acquire materials and research also makes the Pandorans progress.
